The acrylic painting shows beautiful African women in colorful robes as they are dancing. An everyday scene is shown at a village festival in Namibia / Africa and the aesthetics of the moment are captured. The artist of this artwork particularly appreciates these everyday occurrences, the beauty of women and the colorful culture of his country and brings them to all of his paintings.
I draw my artworks on the basis of real, everyday experiences. African women are the focus of my inspiration and reflect the immeasurable strength that it demands of them to take care of their families. The beauty that they give, their beautiful colors and their grace flow out of them and let them dance, dress, cultivate, give life to children - give them a beautiful life.
What I miss, or what I long for the most, I bring to life in my paintings, because colors can heal. The painting-process becomes therapy for me, but it is also my greatest passion and purpose.
